Golden Eagle Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Dr. Margaret Oulton (PhD'75), a retired prenatal researcher, donated $2 million to the IWK Health Centre to expand women's health research. The donation follows IWK Foundation's push for more emphasis on women’s health, including a survey and a new Accelerate Research Chair in Women+ Health. Dr. Oulton, alum and former Dal professor, made the donation after her research led to the safe delivery of over 10,000 babies in Atlantic Canada.
