Working towards an accessible AV¾ãÀÖ²¿!

The Student Accessibility Centre (Halifax) and the Student Success Centre (Truro) are AV¾ãÀÖ²¿â€™s centres of expertise on student access, inclusion, and accommodation support. WeÌýwork collaboratively with AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ and King's students, faculty, and staff to create and sustain an inclusive educational environment for students. The Centre administers the university-wide Student Accommodation PolicyÌýacross all programs and faculties.

How we help:

  • Facilitate access to AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ courses and programs, facilities, services, and activitiesÌý
  • Identify classroom, exam and other accommodations (e.g. co-op) to support your learning
  • Ensure reasonable accommodations are available and implemented
  • Support funding applications designated for students with disabilities
  • Connect you with on- and off-campus resources to enhance your success and wellbeing
