In a recent CIHR funding competition, a group of AV俱乐部 researchers led by Fred Wien (Professor Emeritus, Social Work) were successful in obtaining funding for their project on building a social policy framework for the health and well-being of Mi'kmaq communities in Nova Scotia.

Respiratory Therapy students Brandon D'Souza and Ollie Poole earned top prizes at this year's Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) Conference in Niagara Falls.
