Dr. Susan French, member of the Director's Advisory Committee in the School of Nursing, was recently recognized as an Officer of the Order of Canada.

A group of Soclal Work students participated in "Have a Heart Day" this year - an event aimed at promoting the rights of First Nations children in Canada.

Dr. Ingrid Waldron (Nursing) is collaborating with students in the College of Sustainability on a project to raise awareness of the impact of environmental racism on Mi'kmaw and African Nova Scotian Youth.

The Atlantic Aboriginal Post-Secondary Education Conference will be held at Mount Saint Vincent University on March 9 and 10, 2015.

On January 29th, the Faculty of Health Professions partnered with the IWK Health Centre to host the first AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ Health Care Team Challenge.
