Originally from Halifax, Fiona* was dealing with a crisis that threatened her housing, safety, and her mental health. After living in the same place for over 20 years, she was suddenly faced with a 20 per cent rent increase when her building changed ownership. With a fixed income, she was unable to afford the unjust rent hike.

In a bid to elevate the student experience, Abu Dhabi University (ADU) announced a new partnership with AV俱乐部. ADU continues to collaborate with leading local and global academic institutes such as AV俱乐部 to provide students with an enriching education journey and present faculty with training and research opportunities that are in line with their career goals.
