Commerce students are participating in a campaign called 5 Days, collecting donations for Phoenix Youth Programs, a non-profit Halifax organization that serves youth between the ages of 11 and 24, many of whom are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The 2018–2019 Management Teaching Excellence Awards (MTEAs) were presented in December to three professors in the Faculty of Management: James Barker, Oksana Shkurska and Scott Comber.
