Dal Innovation Week welcomes curious minds and big ideas

Dal’s second-annual ignites this week, bringing nine days of bold ideas and boundary-pushing events to Halifax.

The week kicks off Sept. 18 and runs through to Sept. 25, offering a range of opportunities for innovators eager to get engaged in the action. There are pitch competitions, workshops, open house events, facility tours, and more.

“This is your opportunity to engage with the people and projects shaping the future — right here at Dal,” says Dr. Christopher McMaster (shown right), scientific director of the CIHR's .

Dr. McMaster is also the founder of two biotech companies, and Haligene, and will lead a session calledI on how tech is transforming health care.

"Whether you're a student, researcher, entrepreneur, or simply someone who loves to explore new ideas, there’s something for you," adds Dr. McMaster.
