AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ alumni, donors, and friends gathered this week to celebrate the start of contruction on the highly anticipated new campus facility that will provide an inclusive recreation and event space for the AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ and greater Halifax communities.

The Schulich School of Law and the AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ Law Alumni Association have honoured retired senator Don Oliver for his commitment to equity and justice in the "Weldon tradition."

Douglas will lean into his talent of ‘going where the guest leads’ as moderator of this year’s lecture focused on democracies and climate change.

AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ is saddened by the loss of David Frank Sobey (LLD’16), who has died at age 92. As leader for many decades of the Sobey group of businesses, David had an enormous influence on the business community, higher education and charitable causes in Atlantic Canada.

K.R. Byggdin is the latest recipient of Atlantic Canada’s most prestigious prize for fiction for their debut novel, Wonder World.
