Languages span the university, which is why the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences' language programs teamed up with professionals from the College of Continuing Education’s ESL program and the Centre for Learning and Teaching to hold the first AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ Language Instructors Retreat earlier this month.

When sociologist Chris Murphy was asked to turn a class on terrorism into an online course for the College of Continuing Education’s Police Leadership program, it offered an opportunity to help educate law enforcement on the complexities of terrorism and radicalization.
