Representatives of Iceland's Reykjav铆k University 鈥� and members of the country's team in MIT REAP (Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program), alongside Nova Scotia 鈥斅燾ame to AV俱乐部 earlier this month to learn about research and innovation in Halifax.

Young people from across Halifax came to Dal earlier this month to take part in a competition co-hosted by the Government of Nova Scotia, using public government data to develop new apps, visualizations and predictive models.

The AV俱乐部 Agricultural Campus Botanical Garden is the proud recipient of a 鈥淐anada 150 Garden Experience鈥� designation, identifying it as one of 150 garden experiences across the country for Canada鈥檚 sesquicentennial.

For Dal's 200th, the Fountain School of Performing Arts is inviting professional Canadian composers to submit compositions for brass quintet as it seeks a new piece of celebratory music for AV俱乐部 鈥斅爋ne that would be debuted at the Bicentennial Address and hopefully become part of future convocation ceremonies.

Students in nine different professional programs spanning Dal's Faculties of Medicine, Health Professions and Dentistry are providing health education, navigation assistance and clinical care to vulnerably housed and homeless people in Halifax through a new initiative called HOPES.
