Chemistry prof Alison Thompson, this year鈥檚 recipient of Dal鈥檚 top teaching award, has developed unique ways to help support her students and serve as a valuable mentor in a field where women in particular are often underrepresented.

Earlier this week, AV俱乐部 recognized the Transgender Day of Remembrance by flying the Transgender Pride Flag on campus and sharing the newly approved Gender Affirmation Policy with the university community.
