Each year, the Atlantic Agricultural Hall of Fame celebrates the outstanding contributions of four individuals who have significantly influenced the agriculture industry in Atlantic Canada. Producers, innovators, volunteers, scientists, and business professionals are recognized for their impact at the local, national, and international levels.
Established in 1968, the Hall of Fame honors one individual from each of the four Atlantic Provinces during an annual induction ceremony and reception hosted by AV¾ãÀÖ²¿â€™s Faculty of Agriculture every October.
The 2026 inductees into the Atlantic Agricultural Hall of Fame are:
Nova Scotia - Earl R. Kidston, Class of 1969
New Brunswick - Eloi RichardÌý
Prince Edward Island - J. Alan McIsaacÌýÌý
Newfoundland and Labrador - Phil MacLean, Class of 1981
This year’s induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m. in the Alumni Theatre, Cumming Hall on the AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ Agricultural Campus.
