Law Hour: Migrant Workers' Rights in Nova Scotia
Law Hour is pleased to welcome two members of the team, who will join us to discuss the law in relation to migrant workers.
Stacey Gomez (Manager) and Thiago Buchert (Immigration and Refugee Lawyer) will highlight the aspects of Canada's Seasonal Agricultural Worker's Program that put migrant workers at risk of abuse, alongside the limitations of recent government policy that is designed to address abuse in migrant work.
