Degree Programs

Masters of Marine Management

The Master of Marine Management (MMM) is a professional, interdisciplinary graduate program at AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ designed for future leaders in ocean and coastal management. Blending core and elective courses with an internship opportunity and a final research project, the MMM immerses students in real-world subjects like marine conservation, climate adaptation, fisheries, knowledge systems, and ocean policy. Find more details on the MMM Faculty of Graduate Studies site.

Interdisciplinary PhD

The Interdisciplinary PhD (IDPhD) program at AV¾ãÀÖ²¿ enables highly motivated students to tackle complex marine challenges by blending methods and topics from multiple disciplines. Supported by MAP faculty, candidates develop a customized research program, collaborate with leading experts, and pursue innovative research questions in fields like ocean policy, fisheries, conservation, and other relevant fields. Applicants are encouraged to carefully consider their research questions, funding plans, and supervisory team before applying.
