Bachelor of Community Design
Bachelor of Community Design (BCD) students can integrate Sustainability into their degree with the Double Major, Minor, and Certificates.
Environment, Sustainability & Society (ESS) can be studied in the BCD as aÌýDouble MajorÌýin Community Design and Sustainability. BCD Double Major students may apply to complete Honours in Planning in their fourth year, gaining professional accreditation as a Planner in Canada.Ìý
Work-integrated learning options
Students in the BCD Double Major with Sustainability may apply forÌýSustainability Work-Integrated LearningÌýwith the Sustainability Work Experience Program (1 paid work term). Gain Sustainability-related work experience as anÌýundergradÌýand hit the ground running when you graduate!ÌýLearn moreÌý
Minor options
Students in the BCD Honours program without the Sustainability Double Major may pursue theÌýESS Minor.ÌýLearn moreÌý
Certificate options
Students can also integrate Sustainability into a BCD degree with one or moreÌýCertificates:
The Certificate in ESS; the Certificate in Communicating Sustainability; or the Certificate in Food, Agriculture and Sustainability can be obtained by completing specific courses, which may also satisfy other degree and program requirements.ÌýLearn more about these certificates
