Sarty, who lives in Halifax and works remotely for California-based Mosaic, did her graduate work in Industrial Engineering working with a very different set of data 鈥� four years worth of information from the emergency department at Halifax鈥檚 IWK Health Centre.

When Wilfried Kindo moved to Canada from Africa in 2021 to begin his engineering degree at AV俱乐部, one of the biggest culture shocks he experienced was the dramatic change in weather.
