The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree programÌýprepares studentsÌýto become Registered Nurses (RNs)Ìýlocally, nationally and abroad.ÌýÌý
AV¾ãÀÖ²¿â€™s School of NursingÌýbaccalaureate degreeÌýoffers students the opportunity to complete this degree in three calendar years as Semester 1 Entry student or two calendar years as an Semester 3 Entry student. Contact theÌýRegistrar's OfficeÌýfor more details.
Students can earn their degree at ourÌýHalifaxÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýYarmouth, Nova ScotiaÌýlocations.Residents ofÌýNunavutÌýcan enroll in ourÌýBScN (Arctic Nursing)Ìýprogram, offered in collaboration withÌýNunavut Arctic College.

Nursing CertificatesÌýas an option to undergraduate students in the BScN program are as followed:
• Acute/Critical Care Nursing
•ÌýMental Health and Addictions Nursing
• Oncology Nursing
• Perinatal andÌýPaediatric Nursing
• Public Health Nursing
The certificate will enable students to explore an area of nursing more in-depth than the generalist level and is responsive to service sector demands in various targeted areas of nursing practice. The certificates are an option for undergraduate students once they complete Semester 5 of the BScN program.Ìý
