Diz聽is an interdisciplinary educator, social science researcher, and leader specializing in ocean and climate learning, public engagement, and聽collaborative processes focused on action and impact. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition, a centre for ocean literacy research and innovation that is administratively based at the Ocean Frontier Institute at AV俱乐部.聽聽In 2024, Diz served as Co-chair and lead author of the Ocean Decade Challenge 10 White Paper -聽Restoring Society's Relationship with the Ocean. Diz is currently serving on the IOC-UNESCO Group of Experts on Ocean Literacy. Diz鈥檚 work has received national and international recognition and awards, including most recently,聽the King Charles III Coronation Medal in 2025.聽
