Driven by curiosity and a commitment to sharing knowledge, she has worked across Canada, the Caribbean, and Africa as a contractor, public servant, researcher and environmental educator. Her work includes local communities and spans local to international scales, offering practical guidance on integrated oceans management and holistic approaches like ecosystem-based and marine spatial planning.聽Sondra聽focuses on strengthening the institutional capacity of social sciences to enhance natural science effectiveness, fostering meaningful engagement with stakeholders and rightsholders, and promoting effective science communication and ocean literacy for all.
