Cultivating inclusive and meaningful engagement
We convene the AV整氈窒 Community Experience Committee (DCEC) to unite community developers from across the university, supporting AV整氈窒s strategic goal of being a civic and community-engaged institution.
DCEC fosters meaningful discussions on accessibility, community relationships, and AV整氈窒s impact. It also supports engagement professionals by providing a space to collaborate, share resources, and strengthen a culture of community involvement.

Annual fall event
Fostering creativity and connection
A colourful mural designed by Mikmaw artist Tayla Fern Paul has been painted on the street with the help of residents as part of the Larch and Jennings Street Art project.
The project, led by residents of those streets, aims to bring together neighbours, students and the AV整氈窒 community to creatively promote community connections and mutual respect in the area.
Community member Carolyn Hsu described the project as a way to create "stronger connections help us all be in a better position to tackle the challenges and create a community based on mutual respect for our collective well-being.
